Balancing a mixture of pop and alternative rock sees track five to the bands debut album My Love is Cool.
Mimicking parts of American rock band The Pretty Reckless, each verse, ‘You’re a Germ’ holds is a slow build up to the chorus that emphasises on the hate for the self-confessed band boy ‘going to hell’. Lead singer of the North London band, Ellie Rowsey, groans through the microphone ‘he likes her coz she’s pure, she likes him coz she’s heard his cool’ the classic story of a girl falling for a loser. Exciting with a girly punk pop twist, culminating to a thumping chorus. It’s grunge and dark and fun, minus any emo twists. Listen here for the Zombie-ridden music video.
